• [FEATURE] Data download performance improved
  

  The performance of the Data Download engine has been improved drastically. Depending on the type and volume of the download the optimization varies between factor 2 and 12.
  

• [FEATURE] Additional VBus devices implemented
  

  Added support for the following devices: RESOL DeltaSol C, several RESOL DeltaSol BS variants, RESOL DeltaSol Pool, RESOL DeltaSol MiniPool and several OEM controllers.
  

• [FEATURE] Timezones added
  

  Several timezones and corresponding DST rules have been added. They can be selected under "Configuration" / "Time".
  

• [FEATURE] Web-Service support enhanced
  

  A JSON download type was added to allow web-service-like access to live and logged data. You can request the web-service API documentation by contacting the RESOL support team.
  

• [FEATURE] FTP access
  

  A FTP server was included in the DL2 firmware. It can be enabled and configured under "Configuration" / "Remote Access". The FTP username and default password are "ftp". Files that are uploaded using FTP will be accessible over HTTP using this link.
  

• [FEATURE] Developer access
  

  A SSH server and other facilities to improve developer access were included in the DL2 firmware. These features can be enabled by installing a development certificate which can be obtained by contacting the RESOL support team.
  

• [BUGFIX] Web Interface latency
  

  In previous versions the web interface service used reverse DNS lookups to find the host names of itself and the request source. This caused latencies on devices with certain nameserver settings or instances. This problem was fixed, reverse DNS lookups are not performed any longer.
  

• [BUGFIX] Concurrent Remote Access connections
  

  In previous versions two or more concurrent connections to the VBus Remote Access socket (TCP port 7053) would lead to a non-responding backend application, causing discovery and data logging to stall. This problem was fixed, now up to 10 concurrent connections can be established.
  

• [BUGFIX] Advanced download start and end time
  

  In the previous versions support for partial downloads was introduced, allowing a start and end date to be specified by the user. The internal data selection ignored part of this information causing preparation of too much data. This problem was fixed.
  

• [BUGFIX] Changing web interface language requires credentials
  

  In previous versions after introducing the "Public Access" feature you were prompted to enter credentials while trying to change the language of a publicly accessible page. This problem was fixed.
  

• [BUGFIX] MTU setting adjusted
  

  In previous versions the MTU network setting was hard-coded to 1500, causing connection problems over DSL due to packet fragmentation. The value now defaults to 1492 and can be changed under "Configuration" / "Network".
  

• [SECURITY] Ruby version updated
  

  Updated Ruby to version 1.8.6-p368 due to security reasons. For more information click here.

• [FEATURE] Data download improvements
  

  The Data Download page was improved to allow partial download by date and a sieve interval. A warning will be shown if the output file format is "Excel" to indicate a row count restriction of 65536. After starting a download a preparation progress page is displayed to inform the user that the download itself will start shortly.

• [BUGFIX] Network stability improved
  

  In previous versions heavy network load could cause the kernel's LAN driver to stop transmitting packets, resulting in a loss of network connectivity. The problem was fixed.
  

• [BUGFIX] Configuration changes not synced
  

  In previous versions configuration changes issued via the HTTP web interface were not reflected by the HTTPS instance and vice versa. The problem was fixed.

• [FEATURE] "Public Access" implemented
  

  The "Public Access" feature allow you to specify whether a DL2 page (e.g. "Data - Live") needs username and password to be accessed. The configuration can be done here.
  

• [FEATURE] Additional VBus devices implemented
  

  Now the following devices are fully supported: Sonnenkraft SKSC3, DeDietrich Diemasol C (after 2007).
  

• [BUGFIX] Evaluation of multi-part VBus values fixed
  

  In previous versions an error prevented processing values received over the VBus that consisted of several parts (e.g. "Heat amount", which is transmitted as Wh, kWh and MWh separately). The bug was fixed. If you download previously recorded data, the downloaded file will contain the correct values.
  

• [BUGFIX] Evaluation of time VBus values fixed
  

  In previous versions time information were displayed as "minutes since Monday midnight". The bug was fixed, they now show as "HH:MM", optionally prefixed by weekday abbreviation if applicable. If you download previously recorded data, the downloaded file will contain the correct values.
  

• [BUGFIX] Live data refresh fixed
  

  In previous versions the "Live Data" view was not refreshed if an Internet Explorer was used. The bug was fixed, the "Live Data" page now has proper cache control statements.
  

• [BUGFIX] Text data download separator fixed
  

  In previous versions the different text file options under "Download Data" incorrectly only separated data with tabs. This bug is fixed, if CSV is chosen a semicolon is used as separator.
  

• [BUGFIX] Reset button functionality fixed
  

  In previous versions pressing and holding the reset button for more than 10 seconds resulted in deletion of the configuration files, but did not restart the corresponding applications to inform them about this chance of configuration. This bug is fixed, the device will perform a reboot to complete the factory reset.
  

• [SECURITY] Ruby version updated
  

  Updated Ruby to version 1.8.6-p287 due to security reasons. For more information click here.
